A children's book in The Galaxy of Superstars Series called The Dixie Chicks has been published and is on sale.
Interview magazine - There is a 4 page spread in the August music issue. An interview conducted by Bonnie Raitt and some new photos.
The Journal Of Country Music VOLUME XXII, Number 2 - In "Dixie Chicks: Bringing It All Back Home," Richard Skanse interviews current and past Chicks Natalie Maines, Emily Robison, and Laura Lynch (and many of their associates) after the Chicks return to their Texas roots to renew themselves both personally and artistically.

Recipes from the Dixie Chicks will be in The Bluebird Cafe Scrapbook: Music and Memories from Nashville's legendary singer-songwriter showcase, an upcoming volume celebrating the venue's 20th anniversary. The book will be published in June by HarperCollins. www.bluebirdcafe.com
Television
The Dixie Chicks will perform in two concerts on August 15th and 16th at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood for future airing on NBC.
The cancelled show CMT Crossroads with the Dave Matthews Band is now with James Taylor. It will air in October.
CDs
The Chicks have recorded a song with Buck Owens and Brad Paisley for the yet to be released album "Buck Owens' One Man Band". -
Country Weekly magazine
Natalie adds her signature twang to "Abilene" on the CD from Sheryl Crow "C'mon C'mon'.
The Chicks sing background vocals on Jesse Dayton's CD 'Hey Nashvegas!'. The name of the song is "Panhandle Jane". Even thought the CD was released in the fall of 2001, the Chicks recorded their vocals with Jesse in 1998. -

Movies
In the Michael Douglas movie 'Don't Say A Word', "Pink Toenails" is sung by the daughter.
The IMAX film 'Twang' - which features the Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson and others - has been renamed 'Music Country'. It was originally scheduled to be released in June 2001, but ran into legal and budget troubles during production. The mega-screen film was then expected to be released in spring 2002 but has not been yet.
